Introducing "Rainyday's Private Dancer" known as "Tina" at home! Tina was born in Lubbock, Texas on Sept. 7th so she recently turned 4 months old. She is a black-tri Australian Shepherd like Scott's red-bi, Chance, who turned 3 years old today (also Ryan's 31st birthday!). We fell in love with Chance and missed him when he would go back home with Scott to Lawrence so Dennis and I decided we needed an Aussie of our own. We figured that Libby, our 15 yr. old Yorkie, would provide good friendship and leadership to the new puppy, but Oct. 15th, Libby required emergency surgery and didn't recover from the anesthesia. We were minus "man's best friend" for about a month until Tina was old enough to leave her mommy. Soon after returning from Thailand, Scott and I flew down to Lubbock to visit with Karen's family for a couple of days and then rented a car to drive home with Tina. She is now 20 lbs. and very sweet and intelligent (of course!). We start obedience classes in a couple of weeks. Dennis and Tina have begun working with the Frisbee (Chance is a pro!), and so far she fetches it from the ground and returns it to him.
